Byemoor Boar’s Cup 2024 hockey tournament is now in the history books. Congratulations to Team Two, the Squealers team wearing Ottawa Jerseys, on being the champions of the ‘A’ event, winning over Team Four, the Hornswogglers team, wearing Edmonton Jerseys.

The winning team was comprised of Dan Brown, Rick Stewart, Cash Buchwitz, Jesse Bosma, Todd Starling, Riley Ramsay, Denver Hodge, Jesse Jarmin, Nolan Groundwater and goalie Anton Stewart. Congrats to all the guys.

In the ‘B’ event it was Team Three, the Big Ball Boars team wearing Calgary Jerseys, victorious over Team One, the Just Nutted team wearing Montreal Jerseys. The annual tournament is always a lot of fun.

Cody and Alicia Scheerschmidt and their children Easton and Tesily have returned from a week spent in Mobile, Alabama with their friends Rob and Jennifer Shearer and their daughter Rebecca. They enjoyed some quail hunting, fishing, boating and Southern food.

Bronc Buchwitz recently enjoyed a week visiting Mazatlan, Mexico with his grandparents Robert and Sheila Buchwitz. Bronc enjoyed experiencing Mexico and the opportunity to swim in the ocean.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, 25 members of the Stettler RV Club had a gathering in Byemoor hosted by Gordy and Roxy Gallagher.

The group likes to meet monthly throughout the winter months and plan summer activities. They gathered at the Byemoor Hotel where they enjoyed homemade pizza and played pool, shuffleboard and darts.

Some folks from Endiang and Byemoor, including a group from the Endmoor Drop-In Centre, enjoyed one of the seven performances of “Hogwash!” at the Castor Community Hall.

The dinner theatre performance is a production of Castor Little Theatre. The comedy was skilfully delivered by the cast and was complemented with an excellent meal.

Sullivan Lake West Agricultural Society is holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Endmoor Arena in Byemoor. The meeting is open to all, and new members are welcomed.

Remember the Byemoor Mixed Bonspiel is on from Feb. 28 – March 2 at the Byemoor Curling Rink.

The next Coffee Time will be on Sunday, March 10 at the Endiang Community Hall from 10 a.m. until noon. Everyone is welcome to join in for the visit and coffee.
