Castor’s Opportunity Centre was open on Nov. 2.

Colloquially known as the “Op-Shop,” the community-run second-hand shop has been serving the community of Castor for decades.

The November date was the shop’s annual Christmas Sale, with many holiday-themed deals to be had.

According to volunteer Wendy Bain, the organization still has yet not decided which organization, or organizations, they will be donating to in 2023.

Previous recipients include the Food Bank, Castor and District Museum, and Castor Volunteer Fire Rescue.
