Come and browse our Blind Date with A Book.

Blind Date With a Book is a mystery book that is wrapped up with a small description, enough to give you a hint of what the book is about but not give it away. The idea is to read a book you wouldn’t normally choose and to not judge a book by its cover! Come by the library and pick one out.

Our next Lego Club is on Feb. 14th from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Each month we’ll build something new based on a different idea or theme. All ages are welcome to join in on the fun! However, please note that children under six must be accompanied by an adult.

The library is taking part in the fun weekend festivities of Winterfest. We will be putting on a fun winter craft for kids at the library on Friday, Feb. 9 at 3:30 pm.

We will have a Valentine’s Creation Station here at the library on Monday, Feb. 12 from 3:15-4 p.m. Create a card for someone special! Contact the library to register.

We will be having another If You Give A Kid A Book Club meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 1:45 p.m.

This month we will be exploring Pete the Cat, by Eric Litwin. We gather to read, snack and share our ideas. Contact the library to register or if you have any questions.

You can always reach out to us at the library by calling 403-882-3999 or emailing castorlibrary@prl.ab.ca. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and to see what is happening here at the library.
