Parents and other family members of Gus Wetter School’s Elementary students were transported to Elflandia on Dec. 20.

The school gymnasium was full of spectators for the half-hour-long musical production, written by John Jacobson and John Higgins and performed by the Gus Wetter Students.

Focusing on the elves making Santa’s toys, the elves question the very existence of humans.

They have heard that humans are stressed out, grumpy and not nice!

Then, Santa returns from a toy delivery run and returns with a real-live human boy!

The elves learn that humans are real, and that not everything they’ve heard is correct.

All of the Elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 took part in the production, and according to Vice Principal Luella Lee, the Grade 6 students learned their parts with barely two weeks’ worth of practice.
