Bashaw RCMP looking for suspects with stolen vehicle

Stolen vehicle seen in Mirror

On Tuesday, July 25 at approximately noon, a stolen 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, bearing an Alberta plate L42449, entered Mirror with three occupants.

The first suspect is described as male, 5’8” to 5’9” and 25-30 years old with brown hair, skinny build, and a famous star tattoo on his neck. The second suspect is described as male, having dark hair, a white cell phone, black shirt, and bleeding scabs on his face. The third suspect is described as female, having bleached blonde hair.

The Chevrolet was then seen at the Railway Liquor store where the first suspect entered the store and allegedly stole a 750 ml bottle of Whiskey.

The vehicle was then seen at the Whistle Stop Café in Mirror where the first suspect allegedly stole a 2015 black Ford F350, bearing AB marker BFJ-6682.

Bashaw RCMP continue to investigate the matter and encourage anyone with information to please report to the Bashaw RCMP and or Crime-Stoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.

Seven firearms stolen from Alix area

On July 14 Bashaw RCMP received a complaint of a theft of firearms from a rural location in Alix.

Seven firearms in total were stolen. Those firearms include a Browning Gold 10 gauge semi automatic, Remington Bushmaster 30.06 pump action, Mossberg pump action 12 gauge, Browning 22.250 lever action with Velcro Diamond black scope, Winchester 30.30 lever action, Browning 22 T-Bolt, Winchester 22 lever action with Hexagon Barrel (Commemorative model), and a Daisy bb gun.

Police believe the incident occurred between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. on July 14 near Range Road 232.

Break and enter and ATVs stolen

On July 24 Bashaw RCMP responded to several complaints of break and enter and thefts in the Camrose County area.

In the early morning hours, suspects broke into shops and garages, stealing various tools, ATV keys and ATVs. Three suspects are believed to be driving a small car or mini van.

One of the thefts resulted in two ATVs being driven from Range Road 414 to Hwy 53 west. If anyone witnessed suspicious activities or the two ATVs, one all black and one black with blue lettering and push bar, please report any information to the Bashaw RCMP and or Crime-Stoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
