Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day was back for its 20th year!

Taking place on Aug. 11, Stettler and area residents were invited to come into the Stettler Dairy Queen location to purchase a Blizzard treat. Proceeds from every sale went towards Alberta Children’s Hospital.

“What’s raised local stays local, so every dollar donated from D.Q. stores will go directly to the local Canadian children’s hospital foundation in each community,” wrote Alyssa Bomben in a media release.

The Alberta Children’s Hospital is one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations which has received funding from this initiative over its two-decade history.

According to the media release, Canadian children’s hospitals delivered care to nearly 3 million kids in 2021.

Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle Network have worked in partnership since 1984, raising over $46 million in Canada for children’s care.

The Stettler Dairy Queen is located near the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 56.
