After months of renovations, the Stettler UFA Farm and Ranch Supply store, located at 7007 50 Ave. NW, is celebrating its grand reopening on April 27 with a program and luncheon to follow.

Special guests for the celebration, being held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, will include Mayor Sean Nolls, UFA delegate Guy Neitz, Stettler Foodbank Society president Mark Higgins, and Glenn Bingley, vice president of AgriBusiness and Supply Chain, UFA.

“Projects like these are made successful thanks to the dedication and hard work of many people,” said Bingley in a release.

“The Stettler UFA Farm and Ranch Supply store remodel is no exception. We are grateful for all the team members involved in making this dream a reality.”

Bingley added the Town of Stettler and local contractors were “excellent to work with.”

According to a press release, UFA has been serving Stettler for over 88 years.

The first 500 people in attendance with a donation to the food bank will receive a complimentary lunch following the speaking program.

UFA also has a community investment program and a special donation announcement will also be made during the event.

Following the speaking program, a lunch with prizes, games, and vendor demos will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Vendor demos through the day will include Carhartt, Dynaline, Richelieu, DeWalt, Spypoint and Westform.

The enhancements at the store include:

- A new drive-thru, giving customers the convenience of remaining in their vehicles when purchasing yard items.

- Wider shopping aisles and upgraded LED lighting, offering a more comfortable atmosphere.

A new building supplies area, giving customers the opportunity to visually see products, like doors and windows, right inside the store.

- A new service desk near the entrance, encouraging better engagement and conversation between customers and UFA team members and a new project desk to allow for consultations for home builders and homeowners looking to undertake DIY projects.

- A 1,000-square foot expansion of the sales floor, space acquired from the removal of offices.
