The student-athletes of Clearview Public Schools had a successful sporting weekend from Jan. 19-21.
Donalda’s girl’s basketball team had a strong showing at a tournament in Stettler, coming out on top.
“The girls were able to come out on top at this tournament. It was a great opportunity to allow our younger players to play significant minutes. I loved how unselfish our girls played, how they trusted each other and passed the ball so well,” states a post on the Donalda School Facebook account.
Over at Gus Wetter School, the junior Raiders boys basketball team brought home a second-place win after a tournament in Forestburg.
Meanwhile, the Gus Wetter senior girl’s volleyball team won a bronze medal after their tournament in Sedgewick.
Finally, the Stettler Wildcats senior girls basketball team brought home a third-place finish after a tournament held in Olds.
