The Castor Farmer’s Market Association held their final market of 2022 on Dec. 1.
Running from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m., the Christmas market featured 28 vendors and was absolutely packed with a variety of shopping opportunities.
Later in the afternoon, Santa Claus popped in around 3:30 to say hello to all the children who were in attendance.
A volunteer-prepared supper was offered from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and consisted of chicken and stuffing, bun, and a salad for $10.
Unlike the November market with its frightful weather, the weather cooperated on Dec. 1 which allowed for the high number of vendors, and shoppers, to come out.
With the Christmas market done, the volunteers will be taking some well-deserved time off.
The Castor Farmer’s Market will be returning in March of 2023 once the worst of the winter weather is past.
