The library will be participating in Castor WinterFest on Sat, Feb. 11 from 1-4 p.m.

Come and meet library board members, enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate, story time and board games.

The library board will also be taking part in the chili cook off and building a snow sculpture so come and see their creations!

Come hang out after school on Feb. 13 to make a Valentine at the library from 3-4 p.m.

Contact the library to register at 403-882-3999 or direct message us!

All ages welcome!

Blind date with a book is back at the library. Each book comes with a small descriptor; come sign out a book to cozy up with and read something you may not normally choose.

Feb. 19-25 is Freedom to Read Week.

It is an annual event that takes place to remind Canadians about their intellectual freedom under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

You can read more about it on the Freedom to Read Week website at https://www.freedomtoread.ca/.

We will be closed Mon, Feb. 20 for Family Day.

Make sure to come and get any items you will want for the long weekend!

You can always reach out to us at the library by calling 403-882-3999 or emailing castorlibrary@prl.ab.ca.

Also, follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and to see what is happening.
