You may notice we have two very cute trees set up in the library with different book titles decorating their branches.

These are our wish trees of different books we would like to add to the collection. If you sponsor one, we will add a book plate to the cover with your name.

You can even put it in memory of someone if you would like. It is a great gift to give on behalf of someone this holiday season!

Kids

Red Deer Polytechnic’s Red Hot Science is coming to the library, Fri. Dec., 9.

Grades K-4 can join in on Sphero Droid Adventures from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In this workshop, participants get to learn how to use a tablet to program a Sphero to act like BB-8 from Star Wars.

From 1-2 p.m., Grades 5-8 can enjoy Micro:Bats, exploring how to use technology to mimic the unique echo location capabilities of different mammals.

Registration is required as there are limited spaces available.

Everyone

Mrs Claus is coming to visit. Join us at the Library on Wed., Dec. 21. Contact the library to put your name down to have some holiday fun.

The library can be reached by calling 403-882-3999, or by stopping in Monday, Wednesday, or Friday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesdays, the library is open in the morning as well, from 10 a.m. until noon.

We will be closed from December 24th and re-open on January 2nd in the New Year! We wish everyone a happy holiday season.
