43rd Annual Skate-a-Thon
A big thank you to all of our Skate-a-Thon skaters and their parents for making our 43rd Annual Skate-a-Thon another great success! Early count shows that our skaters raised approximately $4,000 for our skating and minor hockey programs! Winners for most money raised, most laps, skating 10 plus rounds and our pizza party will be announced as soon as all pledges have been collected.
New Year’s Eve with the Dueling Pianos
We still have tickets available for our New Year’s Eve with the Dueling Pianos. In addition to the Dueling Pianos and a fabulous dinner by Michelle Breum, this night will include a fun casino where you can use your winnings to enter a cash prize draw! Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at the Rec Office or by contacting Leanne Lougheed (780-237-8582), Tina Hronek (780-221-4645) or Tammy Spady (403-741-6579).
Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Game
Thank you to all who have purchased tickets for the Maple Leafs Alumni Game, the game is now sold out! We have a handful of banquet tickets left for $60 that gets you into the banquet and the game; these tickets can be purchased at the Castor Recreation Office.
If you’re still looking for a Christmas gift for that someone special, why not get them a raffle ticket to play or coach in our alumni game? Tickets are $20 each, draw will take place on January 20th for a chance to play or coach with either the Leafs Alumni or Castor team. Tickets can be purchased at the Castor Recreation Office.
Adult Recreational Basketball
Adult Rec Basketball will begin January 8th at Gus Wetter School from 7-8 p.m. All individuals 16 and older are welcome. This is a free hour of pick-up basketball.
