A little bit of snow did not stop the Castor Farmer’s Market from running for the second-last time in 2022 on Nov. 3.
While several vendors ended up cancelling, around a dozen still ventured out and set up for the day.
Thanks to Town of Castor staff who set to work earlier in the morning, the parking lot of the Castor Community Hall was dug out from all the snow the day prior for vendor’s and shoppers alike.
As usual, the market volunteers put on a lunch; November’s lunch was chicken Cesar salad, with garlic toast and cake for $8.
The final market of 2022 will take place Dec. 1. Being the Christmas market, the hours will be from 1-7 p.m., with supper served instead of the usual lunch.
Once the December market is finished, the volunteers will break for January and February before resuming in March.
