The Paintearth Economic Partnership Society (PEPS) hosted its ninth annual “Celebrate Local” supper on Oct. 18.

Featuring food prepared by Tammy Cooke and sourced from around the region, the sold-out meal consisted of a soup starter, with a hamburger steak main with all the trimmings as well as a variety of dessert options.

Tickets for the event were $10 and only 100 tickets were sold.

The supper is put on in partnership with the region’s Made in Alberta initiative, a partnership between PEPS and Special Areas #4.

All the proceeds raised from ticket sales are donated to the local food bank.
