U14 Castor Crush wins silver at the Provincial “D” Championships

Congratulations to the U14 Castor Crush on winning silver at the Provincial “D” Championships June 30-July 2 in Provost.

The girls had a great weekend beating Airdrie 20-9, losing to Provost 13-5, beating Valleyview 16-1 and 19-0, beating Sylvan Lake 9-7 then losing to Provost 13-3 in the final game to win silver. Thank you to Rena Stewart, JD Johnson and Troy Slemp for coaching this team and to all of the girls who played their hearts out this season.

We appreciate the Men’s Night Out for providing funding to purchase new games for our Camp Beaver Tail! Men’s Night Out continues to be a great supporter of all of our programs and we greatly appreciate it.

Camp Beaver Tail is in full swing and registration will remain open throughout the summer. Camp runs Monday-Friday (except holidays) from 8:30-4:30 and is open to children six to 11 years of age. We are located at the Curling Rink. Camp each week will consist of a variety of themed activities that keep children active, engaged and learning throughout the summer months, as well as swimming each day.
