Several Gus Wetter programs have received a much needed, and appreciated, boost.

Darrell Blume and Ken Jackson from the Castor Legion (#119) stopped by Gus Wetter School on June 17 to present three $1,000 cheques; one each to the archery program, Raider Theatre, and to the Gus Wetter track improvement fund.

Miss Tamblyn accepted the cheque on behalf of the archery program. The money from the donation will be used to send a team from Gus Wetter School to archery World Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, next June.

Miss Rausch accepted the cheque on behalf of Raider Theatre. Raider Theatre will be using the funds to purchase scripts and royalties allowing the students to perform their first musical next year.

Principal Wendy Coppock accepted the final cheque from Blume and Jackson and will go towards upgrades of the school track.
