In what has been turning into a busy news week for crime in the community, another Castor not for profit agency has been hit by theives.

Sometime overnight on Aug. 16 to Aug. 17 the Castor Opportunity Centre was broken into.

According to a representative from the not for profit agency, as far as they could tell all that was stolen was a Nintendo Wii game, an unopened box of football cards and food processor.

The Castor Opportunity Centre operates on a donation basis, accepting good, second-hand materials for resale, with all the profits going towards a community charity at the end of the year.

Theives gained entry into the facility through the front door, causing damage which required Town of Castor public works staff, who support the facility, to attend and make repairs.
