With Mother Nature continuing to hurl winter storms at the region, Clearview Public Schools has made the decision to not run buses on Nov. 8.
According to a media release sent out around 4 p.m on Nov. 7, the decision was made due to road conditions expected to be poor and the weather forecast continuing to call for severe weather.
As school buses will be suspended for the day, all field trips are also cancelled.
Schools will remain open, as per normal, for students and staff are expected to report for work provided they can do so safely.
Any students braving the weather and heading to school are required to have proper clothing for extreme weather conditions, including jackets, headgear, and gloves.
Currently, all schools are expected to remain open; if a school is forced to close due to staffing issues, the parents of affected students will be notified by the superintendent.
