Coronation RCMP Investigate Theft of Trailer from Oil Lease Site

Trailer found abandoned near Alix

Coronation RCMP are asking the public’s help in identifying those responsible for the theft of a 2002 black Goertzen pipe rack trailer stolen from Coronation and abandoned near Alix.

RCMP believe the 40-foot black gooseneck trailer was stolen between Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 7:45 a.m.

Police say the trailer was carrying 100 joints of 60.3 mm tubing.

It was stolen from an oil lease site southeast of Coronation and found abandoned on Township Road 394 near Alix. Extensive damage was done to the wheels. The tubing was left behind with the trailer.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Coronation RCMP at 403-578-3666 or your local police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
