Microsoft is experiencing technical difficulties with some of its services.

The tech giant says in a post on X that it is currently investigating “access issues and degraded performance” within its Microsoft 365 services and features.

Its website says the impacts of the issues were being felt globally, including by users in Canada, who reported a spike in login, Outlook and website issues to Downdetector.ca.

Microsoft’s website says the company implemented networking configuration changes to provide relief and is continuing to monitor its systems to ensure a full recovery.

Earlier this month, Microsoft experienced widespread technical difficulties because of a routine software update from cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.

The CrowdStrike outage impacted airlines, banks and major retailers around the world.
