Clearview Public Schools continues to show strong results.
According to a recently released Annual Education Results Report (AERR), a document released by the province which tracks diploma and provincial exam results among other metrics, Clearview “staff and students are being successful in many key areas.”
“I am proud of this community of educators,” said Clearview superintendent Scott Leys.
“Clearview has worked hard to create success and we commend our students and staff on this great achievement.”
Some key points from the AERR noted in a recent Clearview press release show that 90.3 per cent of students complete high school within five years of entering grade 10, 89.9 per cent of staff, students, and parents believe that the schools are safe and caring, 89.4 per cent of staff, students and parents are satisfied with the education provided, and 82 per cent of parents are satisfied with the range of programming available to students.
“We are very pleased with our results, but also know that there are areas for improvement,” continued Leys, in the release.
“We will keep this growth-mindset as we move forward and determine direction for the 2023-24 school year.”
Plans for improvement will be incorporated into the division’s three-year plan, which the board of trustees and division administration work on every spring.
