October 21, 1926 - October 17, 2018
Bud passed away peacefully October 17, 2018, with Margo his wife of almost 70 years at his side, at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital in Castor, Alberta, at the age of 91 years 361 days.

Bud was born October 21, 1926 the second child of Casey and Johanna Pals. He attended school at Willow Prairie until grade 9. For high school Bud went to Theresetta School in Castor. After graduation Bud attended Olds College and then S.A.I.T.

In 1948 he married the love of his life Margaret (Margo) Whitnack. To this union seven children were born.

Bud is survived by his loving wife Margo and his children: Terry (Jim) Perry, Larry (Judith) Pals, Judy (Calvin) Bishell, Karen (Frans) Bouman, Philip (Shelly) Pals, Tim (Natalie) Pals and Russell (Audrey) Pals; 21 grandchildren and their families; 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; his sister Dianne (Ed) Bond; sisters-in-law Esther Pals and Dorothy Whitnack; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Bud was predeceased by his parents; older sister Dorothy; brother Ken; sister Pat and infant brother Donald.

Bud was dedicated to his family, his community and his beliefs.

A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Castor, Alberta with Father Merik Kostarzewski officiating.
