With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary McGill Clarke on April 30, 2024, at the age of 74. Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Mary is survived by her loving parents Anne and William Ritchie; her devoted husband John Koprivnak; her adoring children: Anne (Vince) Chapman, John (Fiona) Stewart, Kenneth (Maxine) Stewart, and Christopher (Rena) Stewart; stepson Josh (Amber) Koprivnak. Mary's presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Alison, Keaira, Katrina, Alfie, Lois, Saige, Callum, Jackson, and Kaysen, as well as her great-grandchild Emmeline. She will be fondly remembered by her siblings: Archie (Sheena), Jennifer (Neil), Elaine (Angus) and Edwina (Hugh); sister-in-law Mary. Mary leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, along with many dear friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and compassion.
Mary was predeceased by her siblings William (Mary) Ritchie and Adeliene McFadgen.
A Private Family Service will be held to honor Mary's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, a cause that was close to Mary's heart.
Mary will forever remain in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to inspire us all.
