Metro Wasylenchuk passed away at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital on Friday, July 15th 2022 at the age of 78. Metro was born to William and Sylvia Wasylenchuk on September 18th, 1943 in Canora, SK.
Metro started working as a farmhand for his uncle at age 14. He was an ambulance driver, worked road construction and started working on the oil patch and eventually started his own business, Superb Oilfield Services LTD., as well as working for Badry Landspreading Services Ltd. In Forestburg. He was hardworking, always willing to help anyone that needed it. Known around the community as an all around great man. He will be always loved, remembered and forever missed.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sylvia (mother) and William (father). He is survived by his wife Ottilia, eldest Daughter Janice and Son Derek along with grandchildren (in order of age) Mareena, Corrina, Eric, Emma and great grand daughter Olivia. Also survived by his siblings, Helen, Harry, Alice, Willie (Lorraine), Shirley (George) and Lynda (Harold) and several nieces and nephews, other family members and many many friends.

A come and go luncheon will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in the Castor Legion from 2-4 PM to which all are invited.
