In loving memory ~
Sister Margaret leaves to celebrate her new life in Christ: the members of her religious community: the Daughters of Wisdom, and her six nieces and nephews, all children of her only sibling, the late Helen (Bob) Nichols: George (Judy) Nichols, Minnie (Bruce) Fielhaber, Margaret (Wayne) Gukert, Gordon (Alison) Nichols, Clara (Don) Fowler, Robert (Marilyn) Nichols and also many grand and great grandnieces and nephews.
Sr. Margaret Suntjens, aka Sr. Helen of the Rosary, opened and taught in the first Federal Day School for children in western Canada, in Atikameg, AB in November 1948.
Her community wishes to thank the nursing staff at Providence Center for their constant care.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Centre chapel, 3005 - 119 Street, Edmonton. Interment of the urn will take place at a later date in Red Deer Cemetery, AB.
