Castor Curling Club up and going for season, looking for spares

The Castor Curling Club is up and running for the 2022-2023 winter season.

For the 2022-2023 season, the club will be running four different leagues during the week.

A doubles league will be hosted on Monday evenings under the direction of Stacy Holland. Holland can be reached at 403-741-5249 for more information or to register a team.

The junior league will be running on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5 p.m. under the direction of Dena Boxma, beginning on Nov. 22. Boxma can be reached at 403-740-5323 for questions or registration.

Crystal Smith will be managing an open league on Wednesday evenings, with any combination of four people eligible to play on a team. Smith can be reached at 403-741-6651.

Finally, Shawn Peach will be looking after a a mens league on Thursday evenings. Peach can be reached at 403-323-0134.

Anyone interested in playing, or even having their name put down as a spare, are asked to contact any of the above people.

The season for the Castor Curling Club will run from the week of Nov. 7 until the doubles bonspiel in the third week of March.
