By Tess Griebel

Castor Library Manager

The Seed Library is back for another year! We have had some donations in the past few weeks so we have a great selection of seeds. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, the seed library is a great place to start as there is no charge. Do you have any extra seed from last year? We always take donations.

Our next Lego Club is on April 10 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Each month we’ll build something new based on a different idea or theme. For April we’ll be building castles. All ages are welcome to join in on the fun! However, please note that children under six must be accompanied by an adult.

We’re hiring!

Castor Municipal Library is seeking a full-time Summer Reading Club student to join our team.

Your role will involve assisting with daily library tasks as well as organizing weekly themed activities for our free Summer Reading Club under the guidance of the library manager. We’re seeking a creative individual with a passion for literature and working with children. For more information see our job post: https://prl.ab.ca/castor/about-us/employment

“If You Give A Kid A Book Club” will be on April 17 at 1:45 p.m. this month.

We gather to read, snack and share our ideas. Contact the library to register or if you have any questions.

P.D. Day is April 26 at 2 p.m. Come have fun at the library with some fun activities on your day off school! Activity to be announced. Contact the library to register.

You can always reach out to us at the library by calling 403-882-3999 or emailing castorlibrary@prl.ab.ca. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates and to see what is happening here at the library.
