This weekend’s Beaver Dome schedule: Friday, January 19 at 8:30 p.m. Coronation Royals vs Forestburg; Saturday, January 20th – Minor Hockey Day in Castor includes 11 a.m. Castor IP vs BRK 2, 12:30 p.m. Castor Atom vs Battle River (provincial game), 2:30 p.m. PeeWee A vs Okotoks, 4:30 p.m. Bantam A vs Lethbridge and 7 p.m. Midget vs Kneehill and Sunday, January 21 at 1:30 p.m. Castor Atom vs Oyen.

Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Game

Last chance to win your chance to play or coach in the alumni game! We will raffle off a coach and player spot with each team on Saturday, January 20th. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the town office for $20.

Minor Hockey Weekend

Minor Hockey Weekend is this weekend! We have a full weekend of games with the Coronation Royals taking on Forestburg Friday night at 8:30 p.m. Saturday will see the IP team take on BRK 2 (11am), the Atom team play their first Provincial game against Battle River (12:30 p.m.), the PeeWee A team take on Okotoks (2:30 p.m.), the Bantam A team play Lethbridge (4:30 p.m.) and the Midgets take on Kneehill (7 p.m.). Sunday the Atom team will face Oyen at 1:30 p.m. We will have a 50th anniversary cake, free coffee and hot chocolate on Saturday, as well as a prize table. If you have an item you would like to donate to the prize table please contact Natasha at the Recreation office at 403-882-3225.

Adult Recreation Basketball

Adult rec basketball has begun; it runs on Sunday evenings from 7-8 p.m. at Gus Wetter School until the end of March. This program is open to high school students and up and is free of charge.
