It may have been a couple days late, but the sky above the Castor Golf Course was lit up with fireworks on Sunday night.

Originally scheduled to take place on New Year’s Eve, the fireworks show was postponed to Jan. 2, 2022 due to the frigid temperatures in the region on Dec. 31.

The fireworks show was put on by Castor’s Sky Art Entertainment, funded by donations through many of the town’s other businesses.

A slight change was made to this year’s show compared to the previous year’s, with this year’s edition being set to music which people could tune to via their vehicle’s FM radio.

The temperature for the show was much warmer than the -30 C two nights previous, sitting at -14 C, though with brutal windchill.

In total, the fireworks presentation lasted around 30 minutes.
