Effective April 10, the waste transfer sites operated by Paintearth Regional Waste Management (PWRM) will be transitioning to summer hours.

Hours at all sites will be from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Waste Transfer Stations are located in Castor, Halkirk and Coronation.

The Castor site is located north of the County of Paintearth Public Works shop on Range Road 143.

Halkirk’s Waste Transfer Station is located west of the community on Range Road 160.

Coronation’s location is 3 kilometres north of that community on Range Road 111.

Residents are reminded that they need access cards to access the sites, available from the Halkirk Transfer Station, the Town of Castor office, the Coronation Transfer Station and the County of Paintearth Office.

For a full list of what is accepted at the county transfer sites, check out the county website at countypaintearth.ca.
