A 19-year-old male from Tees was killed in a rollover near Clive.
On June 15 Blackfalds RCMP with the assistance of Lacombe County Fire Department responded to a single vehicle collision on Hwy 12 near Clive.
An eastbound vehicle on Hwy 12 left the road and struck a light standard. The vehicle rolled several times in the south ditch. The driver of the motor vehicle was ejected from the vehicle. First-aid was attempted on scene, but the driver, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The male passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Blackfalds RCMP. The family of the deceased has been notified. No further updates will be provided on this collision.
