Arlene Lillian Hepp

Arlene Lillian Hepp passed away peacefully Saturday July 15th, 2023 at the age of 87 years. Arlene was born in Castor, Alberta on April 8, 1936 the middle child of Archie and Lillian Fawcett. She was predeceased by older brother Don Fawcett and is survived by younger sister Betty Harris.
Arlene worked at the Bank of Montreal after finishing high school, until she married her soulmate and love of her life, Melvin Hepp. She was always good with numbers, was a wonderful piano player, cook and the best baker. There was always fresh baking everyday, and her family loved the special gatherings held with a home cooked meal. She could sew anything from barbie clothes to hemming hundreds of pant legs, costumes for school productions.
Her faith was important to her. She was an active CWL member and received her 60 year pin.
Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband Melvin of 63 years in 2019, as well as her father Archie, mother Lillian and brother Don.
Arlene is survived by her children Terry (Brenda) Hepp, Brian (Melanie) Hepp, Leanne (Mark) Holloway and Kevin Hepp (Rae-Ann McDonald).
Grand children Larissa (Robbie) Lindmark, Natasha (Tanner) Hepp, Amberly Hepp, Kyla (Brett) Hepp, Brittany (Evan) Hart, Amanda (Brad) Hepp and Cassandra (Bart) Hepp, Joel (Kristen) Holloway, Jeff (Taylor) Holloway and Graham Holloway.
Five great grandchildren Landon and Brennan Lindmark, Riley Ellert, Peter and Felix Holloway.
She leaves to mourn her loving sister Betty, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins including Barb Keller who was like a sister to Arlene.
There are no words to express our appreciation to the Long Term Care staff at Castor Long Term Care. Mom was always cared for with compassion, care, dignity and love.
Funeral services for Arlene Lillian Hepp will be held Tuesday July 25th at 11am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Castor.
