Gladys enjoyed many things in life. In her early years you could find her cooking, baking, gardening and canning. She won awards at the summer fairs for her delicious buns and pickles.

She enjoyed curling. She was a Cub leader and taught Sunday school. She loved camping and fishing. Most of all she loved her family. There was not anything she wouldn't do for someone as long as it was legal and moral. She was a real Lady.

The family would like to thank the staff and Home Care staff at The Paintearth Lodge and our Lady of the Rosary Hospital; Dr. Hanton, nurses and other staff for taking care of our Mom. You will all be remembered for your kindness and compassion.

Funeral services were held at Knox United Church on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Vern Hein officiating. Her children gave loving tributes. Cathy Schaffner and the choir presented their gift of music. Gladys was laid to rest at Castor Cemetery with her loving husband Herbert.
