Mrs. Paulette Dyki passed away quietly in her sleep on July 8, 2019 at Castor, Alberta at the age of 88 years. Born in Castor on October 29, 1930 to parents Francis and Marcelle Dyki. Paulette is survived by her sister Madeleine Gagnon; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Mirek Kostarzewski officiating. Basil Nichols was Adult server; Veronica Weber and Rosa Weber presented their gifts of music; Marcelle Brown-Maki gave words of remembrance. Interment took place at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery with Walter Maki, Brian Gilroy, Tom Bibaud, Lee Jaboeuf, Ben Hermary and Merv Coombs as Honorary Pallbearers as Paulette was laid to rest with her beloved husband Paul.
Donations will be gratefully accepted by Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital Foundation - Long Term Care, Alzheimer Society or the Castor CWL.
