The Castor Raider Archery team was on the road in Edmonton from March 14-16.
Taking part in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) provincials, a number of Castor students had top-10 finishes in both bull’s eye and 3-D target shooting.
In the bull’s eye tournament, Myla Geall came in first for Grade 6 girls, and fourth overall for middle school girls.
Piper Dennie finished third for Grade 8 girls and seventh for middle school girls.
Kelsey Stirling finished first for Grade 5 girls and second in elementary girls.
Olivia Weeks finished third in Grade 4 girls and fourth overall for elementary girls.
Hannah Dennie finished fifth in Grade 5 girls.
McKenzie Stirling finished fifth in Grade 4 girls.
Annabelle Stirling finished sixth in Grade 7 girls
Isabella Quila finished seventh in Grade 7 girls.
Kayla Boxma finished seventh in Grade 4 girls.
And Charlie deBussac finished 10th in grade four girls.
Nearly 1,900 from across Alberta took part in the bull’s eye tournament.
Over on the 3-D side of things, Annabelle Stirling finished second in Grade 7 girls and third in middle school girls.
Sibling Kelsey Stirling finished first in Grade 5 girls and first overall for elementary girls.
Piper Dennie finished second in Grade 8 girls and fifth for middle school girls.
Olivia Weeks finished third for Grade 5 girls.
Laney Weeks finished fourth in Grade 4 girls.
Lucy Weeks finished eighth in Grade 7 girls.
Myla Geall finished sixth in Grade 6 girls.
McKenzie Stirling finished sixth in Grade 4 girls.
Finally, Treston Erion finished sixth in Grade 4 boys.
The NASP provincials were held in Edmonton in conjunction with the Edmonton Boat and Outdoorsmen Show at the Edmonton Expo Centre.
